If the police need the public's help to find a 15 foot spoon, that doesn't say a lot for the police. It's a 15 foot spoon. Not exactly something that blends in or is easy to hide.
Before I catch flak... there is nothing WRONG with them asking for help. It just LOOKS hilariously incompetent. I legit thought this was a Babylon Bee or Onion until I read it.
