If he has reached majority you may have a small problem.

I'm very confused. For weeks now, we've been debating the ethics of the President's decision to leave Syria (which, as I understand it, we've not "completely" done anyway) and "abandon" the Kurds. Now, we are to debate the President setting a hard line with the Turks over the very same issue? Which is it folks...fight for the little guy, or stay out of an expanded conflict? You can't always do both.

It might just be simpler and less time consuming if some suggested that they will oppose any and all decisions made by this CIC until either (a) he loses the election, or (b) is impeached (which is frankly, unlikely).

Ray, the left is demanding he take action to protect the Kurds. When he says he might now you are freaked out that he might take the action the dems have insisted he take.

I don't suspect we will go to war without a declaration of war from Congress. If Congress wants to declare war through the constitutional process will you be okay then (not that this is likely to happen). Turkey is an ally in NATO, you might have heard of NATO Ray.

You don't know where the Nukes are for a very good reason you wouldn't be able to keep the secret.

You should allow your son to make his own decisions not allow your political like and dislikes to affect his life. My oldest son joined the Marines during Obama's years. There was no more feckless foreign policy than his. He served his country not an individual you ought to spend a few minutes contemplating that notion.

Feckless foreign policy? Yet you continue to defend and support an imbecile draft dodger that threatens war against an ally for an issue he created.

SSgt Ray Stone - He isn't threatening a war against our ally. He has threatened economic sanctions if they get out of line against the Kurds. It is the dems that seem to want to go to war against Turkey forgetting they are a NATO ally. Turkey is our NATO ally (rightly or wrongly). Should we be on their side or not?

He has brokered a cease fire too to allow the Kurds to reposition themselves.

Cpl Jeff N. - Wrong, a week ago Mr. I know more than the generals threatened sanctions then withdrew sanctions, yesterdays news stated he's prepared to use military force. He didn't broker shit because his daddy Putin continues to benefit. The Pentagon should take a look at why he gave Turkey the green light to invade Syria, which in turn gives them the territory , and removed sanctions.

SSgt Ray Stone - It isn't knowing more than the generals. It seems some generals will keep troops in harms way indefinitely. How many years is enough for you Ray. There probably isn't too much time as things are nice and safe in your basement.

His Sec of State and VP went to Turkey and brokered a cease fire, perhaps you missed it. He is prepared to use sanctions or force if necessary.

Do you favor a congressional war declaration voted on in congress against Turkey or are you just exchanging oxygen for carbon dioxide for no real purpose? Do you want a war in Turkey against a NATO ally? Come on Ray, man up.
