Pope warns of 'dangerous alliances' among G20 powers

Comments from a Peronist Jesuit who is now the Pope? I really don't care what he says. I have never been a fan of the Society of Jesus or Juan Peron. As a Catholic I saw and experienced the abuse Jesuits perpetuated with impunity upon students in the name of Catholic Education. Those who have not experienced such physical and mental abuse have no room to talk. I also vehemently disagree with the Pope's propensity for Liberation Theology.

It amuses me to see how the Left (and that includes this Pope) skillfully play with the language to slip past common sense and engage emotion as a weapon of war. Are we talking about "immigrants", "refugees", or "illegal aliens"? Why can't we discriminate between the needs of each as totally separate and distinct classes of individuals? For example, aren't refugees temporarily dislocated from their homes by natural or man-made disaster and shouldn't they be sheltered in a place and manner that allows them to return to those homes when the disaster has passed? Immigrants, on the other hand, seek a permanent change of residence? Shouldn't they be expected to adapt to the culture of that place? Why should the indigenous people of that place be required to adapt to them? Illegal aliens are criminals, aren't they? They've committed a crime just by entering another's home without permission, and anyone who commits a crime is a criminal. (Why do some have problems with simple definitions?) Who would welcome a criminal into their home? Ultimately, I am not inclined to accept anyone preaching at me. I don't care how others may venerate the Pope. I will respect their opinions so long as they respect mine.

There's no telling how many Putin let in.
