Despite the "gaming" of government statistics, there must be something good going on here. Many more employers hiring young Vets - good on 'em!!

No surprises there SFC Joe S. Davis Jr., MSM, DSL and this only includes those who have been counted by the federal government. Since I like many unemployed veterans who never applied for unemployment benefits I have never been included in the unemployment data.

The reported unemployment rate would be laughable if it weren't so tragic. The numbers that the govt publishes don't square with the facts. How is it, for example, that participation in the workplace by Americans keeps descending without affecting unemployment? Simple, those who have been unemployed so long that they've run out of unemployment benefits are no longer counted. Really. They don't count!
