I'm not one to normally comment on much & tend to keep my opinions/views to myself, but Obama to my is the number one enemy to our nation. He is by no stretch of the imagination the "Head Jihadist" !!! I thought in the beginning there would be change, but quickly it was obvious his destain for our way of life, our freedoms & our constitution. Bergdhal should be prosecuted to the fullest, take responsibility for his actions & take his punishment like a man, but as the facts state he's a COWARD!!! God Bless America!!!

I dislike Obama due to his policies and divisive attitude. I am still trying to fathom how someone can receive a pardon for a crime they have not been found guilty of yet.......

Similar to being given immunity by a prosecutor. Not sure the technical details, but it is possible and it was something that was being discussed for HRC as well.

Agree, same was said about pardoning hillary but that would make her and him both guilty, even before a trial.

Pardoning does not require conviction, and in reality, never did. Nixon is the best example, but in reality, pardoning can be for a single crime or multiple crimes, so it stands to reason it can also be used for not-yet-convicted crimes.

The only thing that I can understand being confused about, is that pardons are always for PAST actions. You cannot get pardoned for actions' you've yet to commit, but it can be used for past actions to either (a) expunge a record; or (b) terminate witch-hunting.

Excellent insights and well-stated opinion views of someone in a position to know what's going on.
