Why is this a problem, can I ask? Also, who told you Iraqi Shia is "Pro-Iran"? They may be friendly to Iran but they are still Iraqi and remember well the Iran-Iraq war and what Iran did. Iraq has to be friendly to Iran to an extent because they are neighbors but that also does not mean Iran is allowed to walk all over them or give them orders. I would be really careful of that specific news source your using because the PMU also has Christian and Sunni units within it. I also have my doubts they are taking orders solely from the Iranian General as implied. PMU was formed by the Iraqi government under a NON-SECTARIAN edict. Iraq finds them very useful because they defeated ISIS when the Iraqi Army dropped its weapons and ran. They are considered all volunteer but the Army is still a peg higher then them in treatment and benefits from what I read. From what I read they are friendly to Iran since that is where most of the Shite cleric schools are but they are not exactly minions of Iran. Iran has funded them but the purpose of the funding was to stabilize Iraq from ISIS before they reached Iran.

It is my understanding, the Sunnis were in charge of Iraq during the Iran/Iraq war.
I do not see where I wrote Iraqi Shia is pro Iran. But I bet half a pay check they are on Iran's side in their view towards Israel, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
I only have civilian news sources. If you think it matters little to have pro-Iran militia on Israel's border after what has been happening this past 10 days, I find that interesting.

Cpl Mark A. Morris - I guess I am confused then at what part of Iraq has borders with Israel then. Can you enlighten me there? Seems to me prudent to secure the border with Saudi Arabia and Jordan with the increasing tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran as the only way to reach Iran over land is through Iraq. I would guess at this point Iraq has had enough of war.

SPC Erich Guenther I am not aware of any border with Israel Iraq has. But Hezbollah, Iran's terrorist militia, is on it.
Let's try to not get too deep in perfect English. How about sticking closer to the theme of mounting tensions between Iran, it's proxies Saudi Arabia and Israel.
It appears, those tensions are growing. If I am wrong, that is OK with me.

They're not so much pro-Iranian as they are pro-Shia. And since Iran is the central power in the Shia world...
