Wait. Spain still has a king. Hahaha! Just kidding. It's just funny to see how countries still have a figure head monarchy and a democratically elected government.

Its truly hard to say. I guess we'll know around afternoon here (EST) what they decide to do. I tend to believe that the vote had as many voters as reported. Polling stations are not like they are here, so police shutting down a ton of stations would not have crippled the vote like pro-Spanish voices claim. The King, likewise, missed a unifying moment.

yeah... i'm hoping it doesn't turn into another Basque/ETA series of incidents. that would pretty much put all of Northern Spanish "nationalities" in a state of rebellion/insurgency, except Galicia which may follow the lead later.
