Professor draws ire for saying students will have to work hard and avoid drinking

I'm living proof that one can work hard and drink!

OK, THAT SETTLES IT! IT'S TIME FOR ME TO TAKE ACTION!

Namely, I need to go back to take some college courses just so I can get in on some of these classes. I SO want to be there so I can serve up a bunch of nice, steaming hot cups of STFU with side orders of This-Is-Reality-You-Dumb*ss.

Because I have some things that makes me deadly in the realm of speaking my mind. Namely, I'm retired, I'm a Chief Petty Officer, have independent sources of income, and a notable lack of tolerance for malicious and willful stupidity.

In other words, I ain't afraid to tell people what I really think.

Lord, I need to go back to college...and learn how not to rape women (another stupid concept), how men are women and women are men (another stupid concept), how it's more important to protest every little thing instead of actually studying while in college (another stupid concept), how I need to tiptoe around the facts because it might hurt someone's feelings (another stupid concept), and dozens more stupid concepts.

Oh, the entertainment value this would have! It would be like paying to go to the Comedy Zone all the time, except I'll get college credit and (another) degree in the process!


EDIT:

This professor reminds me of a professor I had at Purdue several decades ago. During the first day of class, it's typical for professors to outline the course objectives and whatnot. This particular professor laid it all on the line, and flat out said "If you want an "A" in my course, this is what it will take..."

And then he listed EVERYTHING you needed to do to get an "A" in his course.

His closing statement was "If you do not do all these things, then you will not get an "A" in this course."

Walking out after class, it simply AMAZED me at how many people thought this professor was a "hard*ss" or "d*ckhead" because of what he said about this. I was amazed because HE JUST TOLD US EXACTLY WHAT IT TOOK TO GET AN "A" IN HIS CLASS! It's almost like getting cheat sheets for exams!

Sheesh...people are so effin' stupid, it burns to be around them sometimes.
