Q&A: Kate McCue, the Cruise Industry's First American Female Captain

This is from last year, but I didn't know about her. To my knowledge, (because I've never sailed with nor heard of one) she is the only American female Master across all American (civilian) hulls. And to be Master of a megaship at age 37 is unusual for anyone of any gender. BZ, Captain McCue.

Pretty cool! I read the comments on the article from the cruise passengers and it sounds like she runs a good ship.
