It's easy for Paul Ryan to accuse the House Dems of being unpatriotic towards our military for threatening to vote 'nay' on the Senate budget bill; but does he have the balls to say the same thing about members of his GOP Freedom Caucus? Even though he's a senator we can suspect Rand Paul is working with Freedom Caucus members looking for another handout to get their vote.

Well the Republicans did promise to bring up DACA and bring it to a vote before the end of the CR, if the Republicans renege on that promise the Democrats will actually be somewhat justified in letting the government get shut down again.

Actually only McConnell in the Senate made that commitment. As far as Paul Ryan is concerned, House GOP has made no such promise. You just have to admire the unity of the GOP.

I believe that we need better protection on our borders. California is broke. That is why if you are a resident of California your military pension gets taxed. Thank god I worked in Florida for a year

I live in NM and when it had a GOP controlled legislature my military retirement is equality taxed. So I’m not sure why you think CA is unique in taxing your military pension; it has nothing to do with any element of government being liberal. Conservatives tax us too.
Second, yes we need border security; “effective” border security which those border officials have been very clear is manpower and technology improvements at POEs, not a concrete wall or ballard fencing that spans over 2K miles of border. So what’s your point?
