I would just like to share a story told to me by a fellow soldier:
I enlisted and went through Basic Training. I knew I was a badass. Then I went to Infantry AIT, and I knew there was nothing I couldn't do. Then I went to Airborne training, and I knew I was the best of the best! Then I went to Ranger school, and I became humble.

I graduated from class 5-86 and these comments are pretty much spot on and timeless. I would say the old adage “cooperate and graduate“ is key. Go down there in the best shape of your life and focused with the mindset that you were coming back with that tab no matter what. Graduation day was one of the proudest days of my life. Still displayed my tab proudly today. RLTW
