Until an in-depth independent study into the root cause of this major issue is done, it will continue to grow. It appears that band aids are not getting the job done. One study I saw a while back indicated 46% of the allegations came from males. The estimate of false charges is around 10%, haven’t seen how those were adjudicated. What I do know is careers are being destroyed by a charge, real or otherwise.

MCPO Roger Collins we do not need another study, what I have personally seen is, was and will continue to be sexual assaults. Look up the definition. As a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE) RN, I have seen all ages, sexes, "good men" and the lives they have destroyed, and I have seen women as the predators. The grooming, the approval, the assurance that it will be fine.
And I have gone to funerals. Too many, because despite the work and reports and documentation' and DNA swabs and photographs many rape kits sat on shelves waiting for funding to proceed with analysis while the rapists continued to be "pillars of the community" "pastors":"Priests" Boy Scout leaders that taught knot typing.

Maj Kim Patterson I took a similar oath April 15, 1957, and followed it for 21 years on active duty. Still forms the bedrock of my foundation as a retiree. But thanks for informing me as to my freedom to disagree.
