I'm not positive on the numbers, it if there is a selection in the pay grade, they are accepting people for those rates. For example, I am an AG e3, so I can't apply for AC as they aren't taking my pay grade. If I were to be an e4, I would be able to apply if I held the NECC of 7412 which is a forecaster. So with you being an AG, if you have gone to C school and dependent upon your rank and year group you could apply.

1st Lt (Join to see) - I haven't been able to get a straight answer on it. Do you know if the guys who do the Hickam program have to go back to C school? If they don't then I'm almost positive that I won't.

TSgt (Join to see) - here's what I found. If COMNAVMETCOM determines your program was applicable, you will have earned your 7412. The process to submit for that is outside me. If you're cross assigned, I would say speak with your SEL at your AG unit and submit paperwork to METOC command and see if they give it to you. If they don't, then C school would be required.
