We need to focus on real battle combat training instead of trying to fix something that doesn't to be fixed.

SGT David A. 'Cowboy' Groth this is talking about the Brigade Combat Teams. All the ABCTs are pretty much identical, as are SBCTs and IBCTs. This article talks about how they are good to a certain extent, but if we could have more modular and flexible units, they could be tailored to specific mission sets. It suggests looking at incorporating SOF, cyber, engineering as needed to meet the requirements.
It seems great in theory, but the wheels of the Army move slowly. I wonder how hard it would be to realign a division and mobilize it quickly.
