It's important for those fools in DC to realize that Service disabilities often are to the point where a retired service member is disqualified for several civilian jobs or cannot perform them simply because they are unable to because of Chronic pain.
A 40 year old E-7 who gets 20% compensation (264 Dollars a month) who has a bad knee and back will not be able to work in many blue collar jobs.
Stage one Hypertension which pays 10% (133 dollars) when service related is a disqualifying factor in Law Enforcement.
Veterans pay the price of serving long after they get out by not being able to obtain jobs directly related to the disabilties they incur while in service.
At one time I was only 30% disabled and they took it out of my retirement and gave me a tax break. I figured out that in real money I drew a whopping 6 extra dollars a month. Meanwhile I was disqualified for working for The Harbor Police and Juvenile Youth Corrections officer because of having hypertension.

I am a retiree and disabled Veteran. I have been looking everywhere for this petition but cannot find it. I can't get it to open and it is not on the White House petition website. Can you please assist me with where I can go to sign it?
