It's true. They don't protect the citizens but they are giving her protection.

I have a few questions...
1. Who in the hell cares about Harris going forward? She's not the president and she's not running again.
2. If crime is going down in all the blue cities, shouldn't she be safe from regular run of the mill crime?
3. Does CHP protection extend beyond the borders of California? Is so, what does that look like?
4. Do Californians support this?
Seems to me that to some, Secret Service protection or protection in general is more about status vs need. I'd say let Harris fade away, but she continues to make the GOP look better.
