21 for gun sales ... any exemption for members of the Military? How about police officers? One of my nephews was appointed an LEO at 18. He could vote. He could go into a bar (armed) and arrest someone, but not return to that bar off-duty and be served a beer.

No military exemptions, but I have never heard of a sworn police officer, other LEO, or Federal Agent younger than 21. On the other hand, I have known many excellent soldiers between the ages of 17 & 21.

CPT (Join to see) - He was the youngest of my LEO nephews, and a local officer, not a FED. His two older brothers were 21 before they were sworn, and both went on to become career Port Authority of New York officers.
There were, and still may be, some troops who are combat veterans at 19.

CW3 Harvey K. - I had more than a few 18 y/o soldiers that became combat veterans under my command in Iraq and Afghanistan. They were all exceptional shots under pressure and I had to hen over them to a certain extent to to make sure they used appropriate cover, concealment, and terrain features. I discovered that combat video games and excellent marksmanship instruction more or less made them what they were. Primarily due to the games, they viewed aggressors as "targets" (as in the game) whom they systematically and with relentless military efficiency engaged and destroyed without a second thought. The problem I found with them is they subconsciously believed that if they were shot there would be a place where they could "restore health". It wasn't until one of their peers was KIA that they understood what I had been harping on during the hot wash.

Economic terrorism never ends well for the terrorists. I would have thought they learned the last time we had these boycotts....

Limiting the age is Jack-assery! if a person can vote and be drafted or join the service then as a legal adult should be able to exercise his or her rights under the US Constitution. A criminal does not care about legally purchasing a firearm. The Columbine perpetrators used shotguns. A firearm is a tool just as any other mechanical device. Limiting legal purchase of firearms only endangers the law abiding citizens. Look at the left (or as I like refer to them communists) they prop them up to gain sympathy of the electorate. As adults we need to keep children and teenagers safe the unfortunate residents of Broward county elected a self-centered Sherriff, a sorry school board and a sorry group of county commissioners. Their policies and lack of positive action on citizen provided tips resulted in the tragedy at Parkland. Complacency and self-advancement only lead to bad policy. As for merchants ready to sacrifice a significant portion of their patrons for good PR from the communists that is bad business, and congratulations to those merchants who don't flip-out due to perceived pressure from political groups.
