Putting this Representative on the House Foreign Relations Committee is akin to giving an Arab state a seat on the UN Women's Rights Council. Is this the end of the Democratic Party? They remind me of a person who is desperate for a divorce from a spouse who is clinging tenaciously to the marriage. They begin doing more insane things to convince their spouse that there is no recourse other than divorce. Need another example? How about the Democratic surge is support for infanticide?

This is an example of mission creep Sir.
If I had billions of dollars and wanted to destroy/change American culture, how would I go about doing it? One way would sign a NAFTA agreement that gets rid of jobs from the backbone of America, the middle class. Another way would be to allow millions of illegal aliens to create a State within a State causing the government to grow as well as racism to divide people.
Bringing in Islam to the west in large numbers will cause chaos/division. They will play their roll well in attacking culture. They are under orders to do so. See Europe as an example of where we are headed.
Some will argue, they assimulate in America better. See Dearborn MI. as an example of their assimulation Sir. The above follower of the one true god of the Kaaba is on record of defending and trying to get a weaker jail sentence for Islamic terrorists. Her fellow Ummah members.
We are under attack on many fronts. She is just an example of one section Sir.

Come on stu, define phobia! I doubt people have an irrational fear of islam, it's more about historical precedent which dictates prudence.
