What's another $77 million flushed down the crapper. The numbers have become so large that "numb" is the new root of the word "numbers".

I agree. Definitely won't be wasting $77 million dollar on promoting a health care plan. We need to save that for golf trips!

It's not enough. Oh well, time to cut the Coast Guard.

High advertising cost = bad product? Apple much but terrible, they spent a billion dollars in advertising last year.

SFC George Smith I forgot to mention another program that is apparently "so bad" that the government has to spend money to promote. In fact, this program is SO much worse that the ACA that the government has dedicated $300 MILLION in 2017 to promote it! What program could be worse than ACA to the point where the government is spending over THREE TIMES the money to promote it?! What kind of crazy scheme could it be?! Welfare for illegals? NO! Abortions for everyone?! NO! This program that is so terrible is... the US Army. For 2017, the government has allotted $300 to recruiting ads.

Bottom line: the fact that the government spends money to promote something doesn't necessarily make it a bad program.
