I’ve read the entire series of reports to Congress, relative to the new FFG (X) program. I am very supportive of the Parent Design Approach. The recently decommissioned Oliver Hazard Perry class would make an ideal platform from which to start.

Hopefully, these ships will be more heavily armed than the Littoral Combat Ship.

SCPO (Join to see) I don't know all the Navy designations. I just remember the flap over the Littoral Combat Ships.
