Promising outlook for young veterans as they move on from the military. Have you done this? I'm making my move from military to civilian currently (back to school) and believe that my military background will definitely give me a leg up.

I would like to see the references for the data. Why pick 2005 as a start point? The economic crisis in 2008 and 2009 started the mass job loss. The job "growth" since has been in low paying jobs. I call B.S. However, I do believe the skill learned in working in a diverse workforce give you a great advantage.

I am 19 years old doing College and meanwhile trying to find a first job. But it’s been really hard to get interviews and just seems that will take some year/years to get my first job. I hate that, is this normal to be hard find your first job?

I didn't have any problem when I retired because the training I received on Active Duty allowed me to do the same thing as a Civilian working for the Navy, Air Force. I might mention I was a telecommunications system operations supervisor.
