When it comes time to vote this is one of the first things that comes to my mind. On my deployments when I had the chance to vote I couldn't help but to feel, well know, that my ballot was never going to be counted.

well lets see... Senator Al Franken was elected only after all the Military Absentee Ballets were Thrown Out... and what happened in Florida when the Votes were Absentee Votes from all the military bases were Omitted in '96 & 2008... How many other Close Races were Decided by elimination of the Military Absentee Ballets...

Dems know that most military votes tend to go Republican or Libertarian so whatever can be done to get the democrat elected will get done by poll watchers. Republican poll watchers will try to take special care with military ballots and all ballots because they are concerned about the integrity of the vote even if it does not support the candidate of their choice.
I choose to stay independent of the political parties but keep a weary eye on both of them.
