All part of the "transforming" of America. Did you think we were exempt. We used to have a saying, "Run she may, but shine she must."
What more would you expect from civilians that have never served and sycophants that will agree with any thing if it enhances promotion opportunities.

It looks like the CNO is taking a step back on this.

You're Still 'Doc:' CNO Responds to Ratings Overhaul Pushback

Sorry, but I have spoken to a few active duty 1st's & 2nd's as well as a large number of other retirees, and to a SAILOR, they ALL say this is crap. It is MY intention to continue calling them by their "earned" titles, i.e., MA1, MA2, PN1, GM1, or what ever. They (upper echelon's, i.e. various Admirals, and even the CNO & MCPON) cannot & should not let this be allowed without fighting for "Their" people or have they given up on doing the right thing?

The Air Force is driving the PC train too. Scavaging for parts and a personnel shortage and they can afford $200M on diversity programs. All this is about getting social programs in place before the elections for political gain. All this will certainly help us fight the enemy.

I agree with the stupidity. It should go back to the way it was. Why try to fix things that aren't broken?
