They need to do something, that's for sure. Boyd had a pretty good solution, but he had pissed so many of the brass off at the Pentagon that he had to go behind them to get the F-16 created. I agree that the logistics of the F-35 doomed it before it ever began. You can't try to appease all those political heads and still get a quality product.

Maj Kim Patterson I do. And the only reason we have them is because Boyd got pissed that the brass wouldn't listen to him. His EM theory did give us the F-15, but he still called it too big and bulky. He got them to make the F-16 & they realized the genius they had turned against them.
