I always think it's a good base protocol. I've been to some bases where nobody gives a shit. Nothing wrong with taking a few mins to pay respect to the flag and the country that we have decided to give are very lives for. Even if your upset with the way the country is going. Except for Reveille, I hate that song. Lol

I agree 100% MSgt (Join to see). In Korea now and on Kunsan, Reveille is not played as the base is 24/7. I gladly stand outside if/when Retreat and both ROK and USA NAtional Anthems are being played on or off duty.
