Reversing the Air Force Pilot Shortage | RealClearDefense

To steal conversations I've had with my buddy currently going through flight school, a big issue is that pilots just want to fly. They don't want to do a hitch as some Colonel's errand boy in an office job not related to flying (language cleaned up because neither of us have filters...lol).
Now, some of this can be cured by fixing the maintainer issues - if the planes are in shape to fly, then the pilots can fly them.
