I love these types of games, though for personal reasons, rather place the PC versions these days.
But why is it called "Last Battle"? Ie Shima was secured on 19 April 45. The battle for Okinawa went on for two more months after that.

his information is Incorrect and data somewhat skewed...
Ie-Shima was taken before the Fall of Okinawa... it was taken by the 77th INfantry Division
The battle Of Ie Shima started the 25th March with Naval and Air Bombardments and ended on 24 April... Battle Of Okinawa started On 1 April and lasted thru 22 June...
Okinawa was the Final and key deciding factor on Truman Using The Fat-man and Little boy devices on Mainland japan...
Ie- Shima is where Ernie Pile was Killed...
I spent 5 years in Okinawa... and was Attached to the Air Force Detachment (Crash Crew Fire Fighters, and CCT) on Ie-Shima for 4 months ... Great Bunch of Guys...
