New ACH will be 24% lighter then its predecessor. After the K-pots from the late 90's, the ACH's felt like feathers. I can only imagine how this new version will feel.

MICH is pretty comfortable and light but after using the counterweights to off set the balance of nods then it becomes annoying.

Another thing about the MICH is I'm not a fan of the fact that using hearing protection such as Sordins and Peltors hooked to comms makes it extremely uncomfortable feels like your heads being crushed.

Steel pot was a sovereign measure against assistant drivers nodding off. Never had anything else.
