If you like story-driven games like that, check out Dragon Age or Mass Effect series (Fantasy and sci-fi rpg's, respectively). They're awesome. For now, I'm working my way through xcom 2.

I still have yet to play any of the Deus Ex games. I should definitely try it out.

SrA Edward Vong Definitely missing out. They are awesome. The first one was so ground breaking, that the rest of the series has not measured up. 2011's Deus Ex: Human Revolution comes close. I can't give an opinion on the newest one yet. I just got it for Christmas and have not played it yet.

I tried to start the game once, and was immediately confused by the mechanics. As I recall, I wasn't really sure what I was doing. A very uncommon problem for me. I enjoy figuring out complex games when it feels rewarding to do so. Maybe I should give it another shot.

SPC (Join to see) Of course I am biased, but I would definitely give it another shot. Since this game is from the "early days". the first thing I do is rebind the keys into something that makes sense. One of the things that I suggest for modern gamers when playing a retro game for the first time is Youtube and do not be afraid to start over.

I personally like the Revision mod. It gave the game just a touch of modernity while keeping true to the original.
