Terminating everyone who disagrees with you is a bad idea, however, so many of these positions have become so political that some change is absolute. RFK Jr should never have been placed in this position and will likely do more harm that good but the same goes for the previous under Biden. Until we stop politicizing these positions, these agencies are worthless.

vaccines were never politicized until MAGA found out they could exploit a fear of (and lack of basic knowledge in) science in so many of their followers in 2020 and turn it into another "us versus them".
Prior to that, vaccines and public health in general had no political bent at all, only a few religious issues.
