The one great line notwithstanding, this was the logic course of the Republican party. Every GOP voter wanted someone to stand up against Obama. Every GOP voter wanted someone to stand up against "the establishment." Every GOP voter wanted someone to stand up against our enemies and every GOP voter wanted someone that embodied John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, and Ronald Reagan. So it was natural that the GOP was going to attract those people that chased that image and were willing to double and triple down on rhetoric that would have voters see them in that light. So this "civil war" Bill Whittle is talking about is a monster of their own creation. They need to own it and take steps to correct because as of right now, the GOP is imploding and far too many GOP voters are applauding it.
Now, correct me if I'm wrong but aren't criminals convicted in a court of law and not the court of public opinion? I'm not saying that what she did wasn't wrong but 1) she wasn't the only government official to delete email (cough, cough, George W. and his administration delete over 2 million emails related to the Iraq War, cough) and 2) No one would care if she wasn't running for president (which is why no one is harping on the 2 million deleted emails OR why no one is talking about how Colin Powell did the same thing).
Lastly, Trump's "saying something naughty" is probably the grossest mitigation of what he said that I have heard to date. Let's be clear. This was FAR beyond naughty words or "locker room talk." He was endorsing SEXUAL ASSAULT and for no better reason that "he was a star and they let you do it." That is one of the reasons why GOP support is drying up faster than a California reservoir and why the undecided female voters he was hoping to get will never vote for him

Hey, we almost agreed until you went all bat guano crazy there. So, I voted you up for the first couple of paragraphs. You should've listened to your mother when she asked you, "Would you do that just because all your friends are doing it?" She wasn't really asking you a question. She was warning you that their bad behavior doesn't excuse your bad behavior. Imagine yourself in court charged with murder and you say, "Sure I killed the SOB. But others have murdered before. Whats the big deal?" However, that aside, you are correct. Stick a fork in it, the GOP is done. Sadly, if Hillary wins, the Democrats won't realize the same is true for their party and they keep going ahead nominating criminals and thinking it's fine and dandy that way.

Yes criminals are convicted in court and not in the arena of public opinion. The Clinton's and the national liberal media have turned ruining people in the court of public opinion into an art form or (better yet) a true blood sport. For years the Republicans and especially outside the beltway persona have been roasted in that court of public opinion, so it would be very hypercritical not to attack the Democrats in that same court. Problem is that has not happen, until recently. Even with his unfavorable ratings, which I really question, Trump has been the first real candidate to call to task the Democrats, Beltway Republicans and the liberal press on their hypocrisy, lawlessness, corruption, and utter incompetence. The Wikileaks dumps has more than ever shown that there are two sets of rules where the Elites can do what they damn please without consequence and "We the people" (aka Everyday Americans) are to be tolerated or ruined. Good luck getting the rich and powerful elites into court because the people who investigate them will not recommend indictments.

It is a good discussion on the state of the GOP which dovetails with Rush Limbaugh's thesis that the GOP does not want to win this election. Donald Trump is the ultimate outsider to the DC Elite crowd made up of Democrats and Republicans. He has from the start threaten the status quo that most of feel has lead our country down a rabbit hole of decay. The unfavorable ratings of both Clinton and Trump are high but now this election is about who will do the most damage to the American Republic that we all know and love. Trump has captured the rank and file of the Republican party because he has early on tapped into the core issues of immigration, law and order, the economy, bad trade agreements, over regulation and national defense. What gets me is the pure hypocrisy of the Democratic left over the latest "locker room tapes" when they (especially Hillary and Bill) have lied to American people time and time again. The Clinton scandal machine and crime family along with their will accomplices in the media and DNC/Party has done more to endanger our nation and society than any locker room talk of Trump. Trump should have his mouth washed out with soap, but at least I have a sense he appreciates "every day Americans."

Ummmmm, just because he didn't get caught doesn't mean Trump isn't a criminal. "Said something naughty?" Again, just because his actions were not caught on camera doesn't mean that he is so high and mighty now. SOME (I won't say any) politicians become drunk with power and use it to their advantage. Some abuse it. It's not a Republican or Democrat thing, it is a person thing.

Hillary's been caught, not yet prosecuted. She's a criminal. Trump hasn't been caught doing anything criminal. Yes, there are many who want to believe he has and yet there is no evidence, only wishing and hoping and believing.

LOL...no wishing, hoping or believing. Every time something comes out against Trump its the "Liberal media bias." Bottom line, he's just good at hiding his skeletons that's all.
