Yeah, they have the right to protest or go on strike. They're not even legally required to risk their lives to protect civilians, no matter how much "tactical gear" they have.

its a peaceful protest. When police start taking responsibility for their actions thats when the flag can be respected.

I believe the right to protest is inherent but not something we can do in uniform obviously.
