Just about any Democratic candidate I have read much about, and probably also most Republican candidates who would have the courage to challenge Trump would raise our standings in world opinion as it stands. Especially conservative Republicans, especially the economically conservative one, are worried about Trump breaking trade agreements, arms agreements, and escalating National Dept both in the Budget and by shifting funds such as from the Defense Dept to the "Wall" are concerned about the harm he does to the economy and our world reputation.
You may. think our economy is doing well, and in some ways it is stable, but a lot if not most stock market analysts such as the ones at American Association of Individual Investors agree that stock prices are elevated artificially now by corporations buying back shares of stock, so that there are fewer shares and each one is worth more. This has no effect on future profits but fools many into thinking the stock is improving.
