SSG Diane R. - I didn't ask for a source to go to, I wanted YOU to explain it in your own words. That's really the mark of understanding something. If you tell me to listen to these guys over here, they really know what they're talking about, it tells me that you don't really know what you're talking about and you are relying on experts. And I have no way of knowing if you are qualified to determine whether those experts are truly experts or just crackpots. So either provide a cogent explanation in your own words, or it's back to the loony bin with you.

SSgt Christopher Brose - I'll consider a more detailed reply, the events of 9/11 left me in shock and it did millions of others I can only base my opinions on eve ts that were occurring before and after. The rapidly changing narrative, and the testimony of the firefighters themselves who indicated massive explosion throughout pole structures. They are professionals trained to fight fires, deal with explosions, Hazmat and have a thorough engineering background in understanding structures.

SSG Diane R. - If you are relying on personal accounts of "massive explosions", then you truly have no idea what you are talking about. I don't begrudge anyone who was there from describing anything that happened that day as a massive explosion, but if the argument is that the building was pre-wired for demolition, then the description anything as a "massive explosion" belies that theory. Demolition explosions are not massive, they are tiny. There are a lot of them, and they are timed.

An explosion is a release of energy. Interestingly, so is a building coming down. Think of how much energy it takes to lift a steel I-beam up 50 stories. That's how much energy is stored in that I-beam that is used to construct that building at the 50th floor. The same is true of every pane of glass, every roll of carpet, every cable, etc. Basically, every large building is a large bomb's worth of stored energy. The trick to designing a building is to make sure that energy stays stored. Just like a bomb is designed NOT to explode unless certain conditions are met, buildings are designed not to come down unless certain conditions are met, with the hope that those conditions will never be met. Well, on 9/11, those conditions were met.

For a building to collapse, the structural steel does not have to melt, it just has to weaken enough in enough key areas. Once the steel weakens enough to allow even a tiny shift of mass in the building, gravity takes over and the collapse is virtually instantaneous. To put it another way, once part of the building starts moving, the compromised structure beneath it is completely incapable of withstanding the mass and the momentum and the release of energy. It would be like you jumping on a house of cards -- do the cards slow your fall? Perhaps, but the delay would be measured in picoseconds. For a building collapsing, the difference between the top half falling through the bottom half and the top half falling through air (freefall) would probably be measured in milliseconds.

The structure of the bottom half of the building at full strength is designed to hold the inert, non-exploding, non-collapsing top half of the building to which it is structurally attached. It is wholely incapable of supporting the collapsing weight of the now-disconnected top half of the building, which is now releasing all the energy that had previously been stored energy. Effectively, it now becomes a house of cards for the bomb sitting on top of it. And every release of energy is going to sound a bit like a bomb.

OK how is this: high-rise buildings have burned for longer time periods and not fallen at "free-fall" speeds into their own footprint. Engineers, both civil and architectural have disproved the 9/11 Commission's report, as have professional demollition experts whose job it is to drop buildings into their own footprint. Career pilots have said that both the airmanship and aerodynamics required to pull off the Pentagon hit are all but impossible for even seasoned pilots. In fact, several have tried to replicate in a simulator, the flight tracks that the "terrorists" flew and were unsuccessful. The hole in the Pentagon was not big enough for a civilian airliner, but military experts have suggested a cruise missile would have done that type of damage. The "aircraft parts" found AFTER the crash were not even from the type of aircraft allegedly flown into the building. And no bodies, no luggage, no aircraft seats, seatbelts, etc. were ever recovered.

The alleged crash in Pennsylvania left only a hole in the ground. No aircraft pieces, no human remains, no spilled fuel, no spilled aviation fluids, no luggage, no seats, no seatbelts, no beverage carts, etc. I lived in South Miami, only a few miles from the ValuJet crash into the Everglades. Initially, the swamp swallowed the entire aircraft, as it went in nearly vertically. However, the entire aircraft and everything/everyone in it was eventually dragged out of the swamp and recovered. Nothing has yet been pulled out of the hole in PA. Again, this suggests cruise missile.

WTC 7 was not hit by any aircraft, yet it was dropped into its own footprint also, allegedly because of office fires. Again, throughout modern history, no high-rise building has ever dropped into its own footprint because of normal office fires. Curiously, the basement of WTC 7 held a signficant gold reserve in its lower level. That gold was trucked out the night before. On several videos taken of 9/11/01, many firefighters are heard to say that WTC 7 was about to be dropped.

The only "conspiracy theory" part I have is when people ask about the people on the planes who were lost that day. Well, one or more of the aircraft allegedly flown into buildings that day seem to still be in existence, according to FAA records. As for the people, do you remember the Malaysia Airlines flight that disappeared and is still missing? Unfortunately, those people were likely "eliminated" and the bodies will never be found.

I could go on listing the inconsistencies of the 9/11 Commission report, but I won't. There are far too many inconsistencies with the official stories. One thing that HAS become a pattern with the US Government is that drills usually become real and take on a life of their own. The 9/11/01 scenario was being run as a drill/training exercise the day before, and then it became real. This is one of the reasons why response times were slow, as no one knew if it was still a drill or the real thing. It was both.
