Robots poised to take over wide range of military jobs

Just thought of some of the more hazardous jobs, remember the tunnel rats of Vietnam?

Although AI could be a concern some time in the future, today they do precisely as programmed. You know, like the climatologists do with their computers. The elimination of routine non-mental challenging jobs would have no effect on our military readiness to defend our country. Rather, this would make junior personnel more available for training. If, civilian jobs are replaced, even more financial benefit to the taxpayer.
