The United States is about 7% behind its target to achieve a 6,200-strong workforce of cyber experts, according to the country's top cyber official. The 6,200-workforce goal was scheduled to be met by late 2018.

This honestly doesn't shock me, though I'm more curious as to whether they are eventually going to just get bodies to fill positions or actual talent.
