Hmmmm...I believe many people on RP were preaching about Russia building up their tank forces while we're more concerned with whether or not a too expensive bird should be CAS or Interceptor frame. Guess we should put some stock into upgrading our armor?

It probably does have 3 times the range. The only logical answer tho will be: "does it matter?" Will the next America versus Russia combat be tank versus tank only? Or will there be planes/missiles involved? The days of lone G.I.'s fighting in a fox hole in the snow are over. America doesn't step foot on the battlefield (rightly or wrongly) unless they own the land, sea and air. So before Ivan see's his first Abrams, he better have an umbrella handy.

But can they hit a target, I can give a private a sniper rifle but that doesn't mean they will be able to take out long distance targets.
