Every child used to understand how to deal with bullies: Cower and submit or stand up and the bully will find someone else to bother. Of course, we don't allow children to learn this lesson any more. Anyone who defends themselves is punished equally with the bully (and sometimes punished while the bully goes unpunished). It's a paradigm that seems to have found its way into the District of Calamity carried there by the progressives (who coincidentally have taken over American education). Thus, we have a Commander-in-Chief who has led from behind these past seven years and no longer has any credibility with the bullies of the world. His behavior has tempted them into misadventures. Peace through appeasement never worked before. What ever made them think it would work now?

CPT Jack Durish - Captain; Not only did the children know how to deal with bullies, being a bully was NOT considered to be something that conferred "high social status".

Now that bullies are lionized, more people want to be bullies.

The Obama Administration will never find the "testicular fortitude" to call out Russia on any type of provocation they can muster to arouse America. It will not even find the strength to call their bluff, but in any case, weather good or bad, they will just stay dormant.

Seems to be some confusion as to what provocation is.

I agree, perhaps it should also be considered a provocation that Russia considers those International waters, and the waters of our allies in the region to be off limits to the US.
