I saw the movie you referred to. Came on late night TV once. They drive around in a T-62, lost. Eventually one of the tankers goes over to the Mujaheddin. It was a movie.

As far as the technical mistakes by the Daily Mail, I'm sure everybody has noticed that the media is pretty clueless about...everything.

Russia could be a very wealthy, happy place if they'd just dump the strongman fascination and set up a legitimate government operating in good faith and embrace free-market economics. They have direct access to both Asian and European markets, plenty of natural resources. Unfortunately they proceed along in the manner an ongoing self-inflicted wound.

I'm sorry. I don't understand. What is "...drunk daily mail [sic]..." What do you need me to stop? Was there no ship? Is there a ship, but no tanks? Is there a ship with tanks but not bound for Syria? Please explain.

CPT Jack Durish - BTRs are an APC much in the same manner as a stryker, they are not tanks.

The Syrian Army is down to using press gangs and many Alawite Parents are hiding their kids now. So they will have problems filling those tanks with people.
