Russian state TV hosts mocked Trump's July 4th event as 'low energy'

CPT Bob Coleman I don't know you from Adam but I knew ring knockers that were nicer to me then you are to me now. One ring knocker was my company commander in civil Affairs and you would never know it because he didn't have your "noblesse-oblige" attitude. The second ring knocker I met who didn't have your stereotypical demeanor was Brigade commander of a regional support group who gave me an Army Commendation Medal last year while I was still a Major (As an OC/T Supervisor in Canada during Exercise MAPLE RESOLVE) for helping his staff even though I wasn't part of his staff. I just happen to work next to him and his staff and I helped them out when people needed help from his primary staff. That ring knocker just became a Brigadier General 2 weeks ago. I made it to Lieutenant Colonel by having an ego that wasn't any bigger than my shoe size. I thought that I had given a decent constructive criticism and I was just making it and Airport 1977 joke. I guess you must not have a sense of humor. You think I have a 7 year old attitude but if you are a narcissist, you think you're better than everybody else.

Then perhaps this quoted statement shouldn’t have been released by the WH:
“People are coming from far and wide to join us today and tonight for what is turning out to be one of the biggest celebrations in the history of our Country, SALUTE TO AMERICA, an all day event at the Lincoln Memorial, culminating with large scale flyover and advanced aircraft anywhere in the World. Perhaps even Air Force One will do a low & loud sprint over the crowd. That will start at 6:00P.M., but be there early. Then, at 9:00 P.M., a great (to put it mildly) fireworks display. I will speak on behalf of our great Country!“

So yeah someone not Russian did state not imply it was to be the greatest show on earth showcasing our military technology.

But I get it. You don’t care about Russian TV propaganda but it is a network that broadcasts globally. Yesterday it was reporting details of Putin-Trump meeting, today it’s criticism of US might, tomorrow it’ll be details of what GOP Congressmen meeting Russian officials over the 4th of July. So yeah some of us are interested in what is said about the US from an international perspective.

Why not? Apparently it worked with Kim Jong Il right? If only today’s GOP were willing to mock Putin in the same manner they mocked Obama, HRC, and Dems in general. I mean praising him as a strong leader to spite Obama then visiting Moscow to meet government officials during the 4th of July holiday to “improve relations” and putting behind them all the proven accusations of Russian government and intelligence interference in US elections. Yeah it would be nice if we show a bit of a spine with Putin and his government.
