So, I guess the definition of "fixed" has changed? If the problem that existed is still present, doesn't that mean that it has not been fixed?
I'm pretty sure that ejection is one of the last things pilots want to do anyways, right? I'm no expert, but remembering things I've heard, it's pretty traumatic on the body.

If you are in a position where ejection seems like a viable option... is it just me or is death ALREADY a possible outcome?

Sgt Wayne Wood very much so. Not sure there have been many that have ejected just to do it.
