Sagging NFL TV ratings leave owners scrambling for answers

I am one of those folks that decided to vote with my feet. I am not watching this year, maybe not ever. Roger Goodel has been wrong on too many issues. He was wrong on the Ray Rice issue and tried to bury the issue of him knocking his girlfriend/fiancé out cold in an elevator. They have been slow/non reactive to the concussion issues in the NFL. They allow too many felons and drug users to continue to play in the league.

The last straw was their weak, tepid response to players taking a knee during the national anthem. These players are employees of the teams and the NFL. You can get penalized for shaking your rear end too much in the end zone (unsportsmanlike conduct) but taking a knee is free expression (that is NFL logic for you). So let the ratings sag. I know some owners will not tolerate the knee takers some are weak on it. My Miami Dolphins had 4 that took a knew week 1. I flipped the channel. The NFL pretends to support the troops and America, they waive the flag and then allow it to be disrespected by their employees. They can do that and I (and many others) can stop watching. I've been a Dolphins fan since I was a kid growing up on Okinawa watching taped games flown in from the states (1970's). I will show my displeasure with a flip of the dial.
