Sailor museum exhibit reveals stories of life-saving pigeons, morale-boosting dogs, mascots

I love these anecdotal stories about military traditions. Then, after reflecting upon the present and intentional absence of traditions, especially in the Navy, my first home, I become very dismayed. I’m happy about it only when I remember that I served in the Navy when it was THE NAVY.
