"Should the government regulate this via law/policy?"
It kind of sounds like you are recommending that the government institute a State Media situation so that they can control the goods and bads of what is put out there. Is that the case?
If not, how would you see the government regulating this?
Shouldn't this be regulated in the same way all businesses are? Free market capitalism, right? If the people don't like what YouTube is doing, they'll stop playing videos and no money comes in. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?
