SPC Britanny *Winnie* Balthaser I agree with your assessment, but I believe it will take a very long time before Saudi Women get the rights they are looking for. The problem as I see it is that the traditions and believes that these women go through as they grow up are so ingrained. Some don't want equality because that don't understand it or are deathly afraid of the consequences of speaking out. It almost like getting out enemies in the Middle East to embarce infidels - so ingrained from the day they come into the world they don't know any better - the hate is grown in them from day one. That is a hard mindset to change! Just an opinion!

What's particularly interesting is how Muslim women justify and rationalize this kind of system. The women of that culture and religion have a very long way to go in realizing the goal of some freedom in their life.
