I say LET HER WEAR THE SHIRTS!!!! Offensive logos, saying are what they need to target-dang it, when did people start getting so foolish. When I was in school, the only worry was chewing gum in class and some fighting.

Make the only dress code the states law on indecent exposure and consider the matter settled. Otherwise it is none of the schools business.

I was a military brat and would regularly wear Air Force t-shirts (my dad was a MSgt in the Air Force). And I never had issues with the school even after my dad retired and we moved a considerable distance from the nearest base. And during high school especially my senior year when I entered the DEP program for the Marine Corps I would again wear my Poolee shirt to school that was emblazoned with the Eagle, Globe and Anchor and USMC on the front and the flag raising on the Mount Suribachi.

The TL;DR version is that my family and I would have been furious at any of the schools I attended for this and I am furious with schools that believe that they can control a students dress beyond the shirt and shoes for health code. They want to preach and teach about rights but infringe on them the first opportunity that they get.
