I'm trying to remember all the public outcry about the decades-old games that have been killing civilians and police??? Can't remember it ever being too loud.

So a lot of thoughts I pulled from the article. One being that to not place blame on a video game but on "easy gun access". If you're buying some gun legally, you must have a NICS background check. If the local police, FBI or even the mental health professionals upload any data on an American with legal or mental issues that constitute dangerous actions if to own a gun, then you can't legally get it. It's not the gun owner, it's those in the system who're not pushing data into the system to price why someone shouldn't ever own a gun.

Two, this simulation was on a YouTube video about controversial video games that was reported as "used by faculty members and certain law enforcement members for training purposes". If I find it again I'll post it. It was offensive then and making a general public video game version is just gross. But like using religion, blaming media for the decision of an individual's decision to cause death.

The awards committee met in closed session and by unanimous consent has determined that the creator of this game is worthy of this distinction.
