Interesting! There are so many things we still don't know. It's amazing that some scientists can't see past the modern written record and will even discount new data. It's even cute that some scientists actually believe they can stop nature and halt the inevitability of glacial drifts. Nature must stop for their egotistical hubris.

I have a friend in Canada who has a larger percentage of Neanderthal DNA than the norm which varies but seems to be 3% or less. I think she said 10%. She has done some research about Neanderthals and points out her own features and characteristics that she considers to be Neaderthal. When I see what are considered to be true to life replicas of Neanderthals like the one in the article, I see her, in them. She looks normal, and is fine featured, but it is something about the the eyes, cheekbones bone structure that is similar . . . or perhaps I'm imagining it. And maybe the replica in the museum is not 100% Neanderthal.
I guess scientists think those folks didn't ever shave or cut their hair, didn't even comb it! Though they probably had access to material they used to make sharp implements, like obsidian which can be much sharper than any knife.
