Scrubbed AWACS Flights Lead to Toxic Leadership Allegations at Tinker Air Force Base

This was in a thread on another site I believe. Aircraft Flight Commanders have the final say for Safety concerns. If they have blown Crew Rest then a TRAINING mission should have been scrubbed. That is a 270 million dollar asset that should not be placed in jeopardy on a whim.
Unfortunately the fact that there were fresh crews who could take first shift for the sortie was not relayed correctly, if used IAW Regulations the crews could have finished their time in Crew Rest and completed the mission. That is where the break down was unless someone was trying to throw someone else under the bus from the background.
