The government agencies I work for loss data all the time with my PII. No one seems to fix it nor care. Curious to see what precedent this will start SGT (Join to see)

SGT (Join to see) I am with the victims on this one. When you go to work for a company, you a trusting them with your personal data. The company has an obligation and a duty to keep that data safe. If they fail in this trust, then they are at fault and liable for the consequences of any data breach. My philosophy also applies to companies such as online stores, forums, and any company that wants your personal data.
